Vitol today announced an agreement to purchase Anker Coal Company B.V. (Rotterdam), Anker Belgium N.V. and Anker Trading S.A. (Geneva) from owner Anker Holding B.V.
Anker employees will be integrated into Rotterdam, Moscow and Geneva offices of Vitol.
Vitol has recently created a team to explore the opportunities and potential in the coal market. This team will be strengthened by the acquisition of the Anker companies.
